Cane production is low, why . . .

Many factors due to low sugarcane production. One of them, due to hardpan below the soil surface that found in many Sugar Factory (SF).Hardpan inhibit root penetration and development, a small root zone volume, root slightly floating on the top soil and nutrients are not be able to suck and cane can not grow optimally. Because the floating of root, root also can not hold standing of cane so its easy to collapse. When the cane growing old and going to be harvested in a long dry season, capillary water from the soil are not capable to supply sugarcane, and its causing dry quickly and die.
Hardpan must be broken during soil preparation by using subsoiler. But a problem were limited number of machine in SF. And also many old tractor in SF that can not able to track subsoiler.
